How to Purchase Firearms
- In compliance with local, state, and federal law, we do not sell rifles and shotguns to anyone under the age of 18, handguns to anyone under the age of 21, or to anyone convicted of a felony.
- Firearms shipments are restricted to the United States only.
- We ship all firearms to a federal firearms licensed (FFL) dealer for customer pickup. Without exception, we do not ship firearms directly to any customer (unless the customer is an FFL dealer)!
- Certain firearms are not legal for shipment to certain states or cities. Be sure to check with your local authorities before ordering to make sure the firearm you are purchasing is legal to buy and own in your area.
- Any item returned to us by an FFL dealer because you are not eligible to purchase or own the item ordered will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
- After your firearm arrives at your dealer's shop, you must contact them to arrange pickup. You will be required to present identification and complete any required federal or state background checks and applications. Also, your dealer may charge a transfer fee and any applicable local sales taxes if your state requires the taxes be collected.
- All firearms will be shipped via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail with tracking.
Straw Purchases
- The person who places the order must be the one who receives the firearm at the FFL dealer! No exceptions!
- If you purchase a firearm for someone else who is inelligible to buy or own the weapon, you are making an illegal straw purchase according to federal law and can be subject to imprisonment.
- By completing a firearms purchase from us, you are affirming that it is legal for you to buy and possess in your area the weapon you are receiving. Stanley's Pro Shop does not condone or knowingly abet any straw purchase and will report to the federal authorities anyone attempting to make an illegal purchase.
